Y5 Parents – More Than Dance – Update 28th April 2014 (Letter has gone out before the holiday by Parent Mail)

Standard

We have arranged More than Dance for Wednesday 7th May.

This is when our Y5 children meet up with the Y5’s from St Marie’s and St Thomas of Canterbury school to do Liturgical dance together in celebration of Easter. In the past, it has been an event which all children have enjoyed, despite initial reservations by a few.

We will travel by coach to the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel, Meadowhead (formally the Moat House Hotel)at 9 a.m. Children will need a packed lunch and plenty to drink. Children need to be collected from the hotel at 4.30 p.m.

Please will you let Mr Conway or Mrs Clements know who will be collecting your child by Wednesday morning .

Many Thanks

Mrs Clements and Mr Conway

Sports day

Standard

On Monday 14th April 2014 there is sports day you need to remember a load of things. Being there for just after 9:00 in your P.E kit at the EIS. You need to bring a pack launch because we will be having a 40 minuet break to eat our launch and let it settle. Then in the afternoon we will do the 200 meter race and relay. If you don’t know what colour T shirts you are meant to be wearing here you are…

If you are in St David you need to wear a Yellow T shirt or top

If you are in St Andrew you need to wear a blue T shirt or top

If you are in St George you need to wear a red T shirt or top

If you are in St Patrick you need to wear a green T shirt or top

Remember it does not have to be a plain colour you can have another colour on but it has to have your colour on. As well you can paint your face the colour of your house or dye your hair the colour. But you can’t do drawing on your face or write anything on your face.

If you do all of these things you will have a perfect sports day:)
