Year 4/5 created their own liturgy to bring their first RE topic, ‘Ourselves’, to a close. Each child took part in different roles such as readings, music and art. It was a brilliant way to show everything they have learnt!

Y4 pond-dipping
Before half-term our Y4 scientists visited the pond as part of their Habitats topic. We discovered lots of invertebrates which had made their home amongst the pond plants, including damselfly nymphs, water beetles and worms. The children were careful to treat the habitat with respect and everything was returned safely to the pond afterwards.
SQUASH
On Wednesday 9th November the children have an exciting opportunity of joining in with a squash lesson at Hallamshire Tennis Club. If you are able to accompany us on the day, I would be grateful of your help. Please see me if you are available.
Thank you!
Observational Nature Art
The children have been brilliant this week showing their budding artistic skills. Using their observations, they were able to sketch some of the beautiful nature we are lucky to have around us.
Glockenspiel Groove
In our music lessons, we have been learning how to play the glockenspiel and play short melodies. I have been so impressed with what the class have achieved in a short amount of time. Well done Y4/5!!!
CAFOD Brighten Up Day
Just a reminder that your child can come into school in their own brightly coloured clothes tomorrow.
